责陈年羔羊复来朝贺，误入贼境，拒还原道。
She accused us of returning with aged lambs to offer our greetings to the court, but we accidentally entered the enemy's territory and were denied our return.
又掠我等高丽王室外戚已下，系瘐伴于烧柴堆，食粪垂饥饿，苦不堪言。
Furthermore, they abducted the royal family and relatives of Goryeo from among us, tied them up, and threw them into the burning firewood, making them eat excrement and suffer from hunger, causing unbearable suffering.
朕等念贵人以性好虐待人，每日斗殴辱骂，咄咄逼人，仰鞭告哀，悲痛欲绝，朝夕捶胸。
We have always remembered how this noblewoman has a penchant for treating people cruelly. Every day, she engages in fights, insults, intimidates, and even whips us. We beseech and lament, feeling intense sorrow and anguish, pounding our chests day and night.
自古有地无主，人民易处乎无龙子康尔与？
Since ancient times, when land exists without a ruler, can the people easily find a new place to settle? Do you remember how the crown prince Longzi gave us his valuable guidance?
朕当以血海为宴，破门残剑。朝阳渐出，人民亡羊。
We are ready to set a sea of blood as our feast and break through the barriers with our remaining swords. As the morning sun rises, the people have lost their way like sheep.
贞竺若能赦朕等，朕愿驰车前有一奏。岁月蹉跎，未获手书。
If the virtuous Buddhist monk can pardon us, we are willing to make a plea in person with a swift carriage. The years have passed, but we have not received a letter.
望贵人玉颜勿忘，若何惩治我等。倘若专以君子之道济人于疆场，命尔使悬磬，致人可绝，朕愿倾血为证。
We hope that you, noblewoman, do not forget our beautiful faces and consider how to punish us. If you adhere strictly to the principles of a nobleman and help people in the military, you should order the suspension of the musical instruments and make people commit suicide. We are willing to shed blood as proof.
愿贵人以家族之光，哀我不幸。伏愿贵人见状，发慈悲之心，宽我毛发之生机，生我精神之向。
May the noblewoman, as a representative of her family, sympathize with our misfortunes. We hope the noblewoman sees our situation and shows mercy, revitalizing our hair and lifting our spirits.
号我床第之地，伏充鳞只单唱，纵束驽于其旁。
We cry out for our homeland and fill the air with our voices, hoping to free ourselves from the restraints and be beside each other like horses.
倘若贼人繁如林具，攒如海波，多如天星，亲见朕等可否？纵死生以之，各如其类。
If the enemy is as numerous as the trees in the forest, as dense as the waves in the sea, and as numerous as the stars in the sky, can you personally come and see us? Even in life and death, let each person be treated according to their own situation.
人神英雄，有何足贵？尔曹负心，无深夜之殇！皎日既过，尔能奈何？浩古之恩，空长叹。
Humans, gods, and heroes, what is there to be excessively glorified? You people are unfaithful, causing deep night-time tragedy! Now that the bright day is over, what can you do? The great grace of the past can only be sighed upon in vain.
伏愿贞竺发慈悲心，饶我等命。若不能通谕，害我柔情，身材长瘦不可堪言，鲜露腰肢，爽利截肢。
We hope the virtuous Buddhist monk will show mercy and spare our lives. If you cannot convey this message and harm our soft-heartedness, our bodies will become emaciated and thin beyond words, with our waists exposed and limbs severed in pain.
存心凶残，贵人何故如此？背义忘恩，贵人若何生活？
Is your intention to be cruel and brutal? Why, noblewoman, do you treat us like this? As you betray righteousness and forget gratitude, how do you expect to live?
如是非宛转，疏离不朝夕，忍受他日之苦！贞竺若忿算，愿发慈悲。待我之行，慎重不若。丧朕狂魔，仰我远方。若朕人行水浮，何处沉泊？
The truth is complicated, distant and apart, enduring future suffering! If the virtuous Buddhist monk is angered, then show mercy. Wait for my journey with caution, for it is not as easy as you think. My path is lost, and I yearn for my distant homeland. If I travel over water, where will I find a place to anchor?
